艾湖门楼

艾湖门楼

　　艾湖门楼位于桑村镇艾湖村中心街，建于民国初期，是本村财主史安清的大宅门，现为村委会大门楼。这座门楼建筑风格别致、典雅，从某些方面可体现中华古老文化。大门两侧上方镶嵌工艺土陶，檐下是横幅木雕，门框下有门砧，中有腰卡石，上有顶卡石，固框坚固。同时，门砧、腰卡石上分别雕刻有花草和茂竹，门楼脊顶和两山头有六尊哈叭狗张嘴兽。主门楼的两个连山各建有两间瓦房，互相对称，使主门楼主体突出，起到画龙点睛的效果。大门前两侧耸立的两座石狮已失踪。

　　据村人说，当时建有主瓦房8间，西配房9间，也是店铺，门店临街。所有砖瓦和工艺土陶都是史清安雇人在村南自家地里建窑烧制而成。（收集整理陈永王成前）
