白鹭天堂

　　在离儋州市城北10公里的洛基镇有个屋基村，这里到处是茂林修竹，栖息着上万只白鹭，人们把这里称为“白鹭天堂”。村里有三棵四层楼高的大榕树，树冠宽阔婆娑，是白鹭们宽敞的家园。白鹭栖息于屋基村已有20年的历史。每年临近清明，白鹭成群结队飞来，到12月霜降前后分批离开，大约在此生活八、九个月之久。这里的人十分爱护鸟儿，从不伤害它们。

　　每当黄昏降临，白鹭们排着人字队形飞回村中，景象十分壮观。为便于观鸟，“白鹭天堂”－屋基村现已修建了高达6层的观鸟楼，形成了特色旅游项目。
