绿岛灯塔

绿岛灯塔

　　绿岛灯塔位于台东县绿岛乡，始建于1939年，目前归中华民国财政部关税总局管理营运。相传日治昭和13年（1938年）12月时，美国邮轮胡佛总统号于绿岛公馆村外海触礁沉没，因此美国红十字会决议捐款在此兴建灯塔。第二次世界大战期间，塔灯遭受炸毁，1948年时修复。

　　绿岛灯塔高33.3米，采用四等旋转透镜交流电，输出电力100瓦特，光程可达25.7海里，几十年如一日的守候在这里，为来往的船只照亮前进的道路。该灯塔为纯白色的直筒状建筑，顶着篮天傍着碧海，巍然屹立在那里，十分壮观。
