Era: Neolithic The Huishui Dam Ruins, located in the Ewenki Autonomous Banner of Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, date back to around 5,000 years ago. A large number of exquisitely crafted arrowheads, stone drills, stone blades made from microblades have been discovered here, along with many round scrapers and large flaked stone tools. Traces of fire use and structures similar to northern-style “earth pits” (地窨子) were also found. Given the abundance of microblade production waste, it is speculated that this site may have been a stone tool workshop.

The Huishui Dam Ruins is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Era: Neolithic

The Huishui Dam Ruins, situated in the Ewenki Autonomous Banner of Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, are approximately 5,000 years old. The site has yielded a wealth of finely made arrowheads, stone drills, and stone blades crafted from microblades, as well as numerous round scrapers and large flaked stone tools. Evidence of fire use and structures resembling the northern “earth pits” (地窨子) have also been found. Due to the discovery of a large amount of microblade-making debris, it is believed that this location may have been a stone tool production site.

In May 2013, it was designated as part of the seventh group of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units by the State Council.
