The Mengjiaduan Reservoir has a water surface area of 40.8 square kilometers and a maximum storage capacity of 108 million cubic meters. The reservoir area is located 86 kilometers from Daqintala Town, the seat of Naiman Banner, and 153 kilometers from Tongliao.

The surrounding area features rich vegetation and a diverse range of birds, while the reservoir contains a wide variety of fish species, totaling over 30, among which softshell turtles and whitebait are the signature fish of the reservoir, known for their high nutritional value. The entire water surface presents a charming scene of islands in the water and birds among the islands. Currently, the reservoir area has a 1,200-square-meter guesthouse building capable of accommodating 100 guests and serving 200 diners at the same time. Main recreational activities include water sports, fishing on the islands, aquatic catching, and experiencing fisherman-style hospitality.
