Mikumi National Park is a national park in Tanzania, Africa, established in 1964. Covering an area of 3,230 square kilometers, it is one of the country's four major parks. Surrounded by mountains on the east, south, and west sides, it forms a basin, while the northern part connects with the Selous Game Reserve. Some animals migrate between the two areas depending on the rainy and dry seasons. Being there, where the earth meets the sky, brings a sense of peace and wonder.

Mikumi National Park is one of Tanzania’s top ten national wildlife parks, renowned for its rich diversity of animal species, preserving nearly all the mammals found in the country. The park features rolling hills, dense thickets, abundant grasslands, and numerous streams and ponds, providing a habitat for many rare African wildlife species. All roads in the park are dirt tracks, divided into zones by several circular routes based on animal behavior. Here you can find leisurely giraffes, fierce leopards, plain-looking wildebeests, swift zebras, small antelopes, and over 300 species of birds. Elephants, lions, hippos, and rhinos also make occasional appearances among the grass and woods. African baboons roam and play in groups, showing no fear of visitors. The park is well-equipped with tourist facilities, including safari vehicles, tented camps, and lodges to ensure visitor convenience.
