Imperial War Museum
The Imperial War Museum recreates the wars of the 20th century through exhibitions, films, and special effects. It offers a true-to-life depiction of the experiences of people on the front lines and at home during World War I, World War II, and other conflicts. Amid the thunder of simulated air raids and smoke-filled London skies, step into the trenches and feel the thrill of the Blitz.
The museum’s permanent Holocaust exhibition is always on display, along with a regularly changing program of temporary exhibitions. Here you can also view photos of T.E. Lawrence from the Middle East campaigns, as well as an introduction to the life of British Field Marshal Montgomery.
