Kensington Palace

Kensington Palace (Kensington Palace) is the London residence of Princess Diana before her passing. Originally known as Nottingham House, it was bought by King William III and Queen Mary in 1689 to be used as a royal palace, and continued to house the British royal family until the move to Buckingham Palace's predecessor, Buckingham House, starting with King George III.

Currently, only parts of Kensington Palace are open to the public. Free audio guides are available, offering detailed explanations for each room. The rich collection of Royal Dress Collection is truly eye-opening, featuring Princess Mary’s wedding gown, casual and formal attire worn by Queen Elizabeth II, and of course, many exquisitely ornate accessories. In addition, the King’s Gallery showcases exquisite 17th-century paintings that are a highlight of the visit.
