O2 Arena

O2 Arena is a multi-purpose venue located on the Greenwich Peninsula in North London that combines sports and entertainment, along with supporting facilities such as shops and restaurants. It was built in 2003 and opened in 2007, with a total capacity of 20,000 spectators, making it the second-largest arena in the UK after the Manchester Arena. In 2008, it was awarded the title of "the world's busiest music arena."

O2 Arena is one of the largest arenas in Europe. During the 2012 London Olympics, it was temporarily renamed the North Greenwich Arena and served as the venue for rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline events, basketball finals, and wheelchair basketball at the Paralympics. Temporary tents, boxes, signage, and service stations were set up, and new equipment was installed inside and around the arena. After the Olympics, the North Greenwich Arena returned to its role as a multi-purpose venue for music, sports, and entertainment.
