Lord's Cricket Ground

Lord's Cricket Ground is a cricket venue named after its founder Thomas Lord, located in the St John's Wood area of northwest London. Since 1814, it has been hosting cricket matches and often holds Test matches and international competitions. During the 2012 London Summer Olympics, it served as the main venue for archery events.

Lord's Cricket Ground is the home ground of the Middlesex County Cricket Club and has been one of the world’s premier cricket venues since the late 19th century. During the Olympics, it required only minor modifications to be ready for archery, providing a spectacular setting for 6,500 spectators.

After the Olympics, Lord's will continue to serve as the home of the Middlesex County Cricket Club. The archery equipment used for training, warm-ups, and competitions during the Games will be distributed to clubs and schools across the UK for continued use.
