ExCel International Convention and Exhibition Centre, fully known as ExCeL London, is a large-scale exhibition and convention centre located between Canary Wharf and London City Airport in London. It covers an area of 100 acres, first opened to the public in November 2000, and its Phase II expansion project was also opened in May 2010, making it one of Europe’s largest multi-purpose exhibition centres.

Since its establishment, ExCel International Convention and Exhibition Centre has hosted countless international conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and even sporting events, including the London Boat Show, the British International Motor Show, the London Fashion Week, the Global Peace and Unity Conference, and more, earning widespread acclaim from exhibitors and visitors alike. During the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics, it hosted 143 events across boxing, fencing, judo, table tennis, taekwondo, weightlifting, wrestling, outdoor bowls, Paralympic table tennis, Paralympic weightlifting, Paralympic powerlifting, sitting volleyball, and wheelchair fencing, making it one of the venues with the highest number of events during the Games.
