The London Fire Brigade Museum houses historical firefighting equipment used by the UK fire services. Fire engines are among the most common exhibits, with a dazzling array of different models on display. In addition, there is also a collection of vintage photographs. Visitors can tour the fire station and learn about firefighting knowledge. The museum also provides take-away informational brochures, and guests can visit the museum shop to purchase souvenirs. Please note that advance booking is required before visiting the museum, as guides are all volunteers and do not routinely wait for spontaneous visitors. The museum is open to the public from 10:30 to 14:00, Monday to Friday. Visitors should be sure to plan their visit accordingly.
