Craven Cottage

Craven Cottage is a professional football stadium located in the Hammersmith and Fulham district of London, England. Since 1896, it has been the home ground of Fulham Football Club. Situated by the River Thames, the name "Craven Cottage" originates from a royal hunting lodge, with a history dating back 300 years. The stadium has also been used by the Australia national football team for friendly matches, mainly because a large number of players reside in England (primarily in London). The Ireland national football team has also played two matches at Craven Cottage.

In 2004, Craven Cottage underwent renovation, increasing its capacity from 22,000 to 25,700. Fulham set four records for full-capacity attendances during the 2009–2010 season: matches against Arsenal (0–1 loss), Liverpool (3–1 win), Manchester United (3–0 win), and Hamburger SV (2–1 win). Additionally, it was the venue for the 2010/11 UEFA Women's Champions League Final. According to official statistics, the stadium’s highest recorded attendance in its history was 49,335, during a match against Millwall Football Club on October 8, 1938.
