As is well known, Amsterdam is a world-famous diamond city and center. Its diamonds are renowned globally, and the trade and sale of diamonds have a history of over 400 years. It is said that the diamonds on Queen Victoria's crown were cut and polished here. Therefore, when visiting Amsterdam, the Diamond Museum has become a must-visit attraction.

The Diamond Museum is located in Amsterdam’s Museumplein. It is a truly magical museum that takes you back 3 billion years and 200 kilometers underground, ultimately ending the journey with rings and necklaces worn on your hands and neck. At the Diamond Museum, you can learn how rough stones are transformed into gleaming jewels, observe the world’s smallest diamonds under a microscope, and watch films about how diamonds are cut, polished, and finished, as well as the 4Cs (carat, clarity, color, and cut) that determine a diamond’s value. There are also various diamond cutting charts and collections of royal jewelry and diamonds from the Dutch royal family spanning more than 350 years.

The museum also houses precious replicas of crowns from royal families around the world and replicas of 22 world-renowned diamonds, all dazzlingly brilliant — each of the 22 diamonds comes with its own unique story.
