NEMO Science Museum is a modern center for science and technology located in Amsterdam. Established in 1923, it is housed in a creatively designed green building that resembles a rising ship’s bow, designed by an Italian architect. Around 500,000 visitors come each year to explore this fascinating world of science. NEMO Science Museum is the fourth most visited museum in the Netherlands and the largest science center in the country, attracting a wide audience, especially children.

The museum has five floors, with permanent exhibitions covering various themes such as communication, technology, energy, and science. The museum lobby houses a café and a gift shop that sells models of some of the items on display. The first floor mainly features DNA-related exhibits and displays a large number of images. The second floor showcases water cycles, electricity, steel, and buildings. The third floor is a large science laboratory where visitors can conduct experiments such as testing vitamin C levels and observing DNA. The fourth floor focuses on the human mind, offering memory tests and psychological experiments. The fifth floor and the rooftop feature a café and a children’s playground. Visitors can enjoy a picnic on the museum's rooftop, take part in science and technology challenges, and enjoy panoramic views of the entire city.
