Cesena is a city in the province of Forlì-Cesena, Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, situated on the banks of the Savio River, about 15 kilometers from the Adriatic Sea.

Cesena captivates visitors with its wealth of historical sites, including the striking Abbey of St Maria del Monte. The 14th-century Malatestian Fortress, an octagonal structure with two main towers, is another highlight.
