Boboli Gardens
Introduction Located behind the Pitti Palace, it was built in 1565 and is a typical Italian-style garden. Upon entering from the left side of the palace, the first things you see are an artificial grotto and a fountain pool. The fountain was modeled after a jester who performed for Cosimo de' Medici. Passing through the amphitheater and walking along a path lined with pine and cypress trees, you’ll reach the hilltop Forte di Belvedere, where the view of Florence’s cityscape is unforgettable. Ticket / Opening Hours Opening Hours: 9:00–17:30, closed on the first and last Mondays of each month. Ticket: €6 (valid also for the Museum of Ceramics and the Museum of Silver)
