Introduction The Church of Saint Dominic was completed in 1324 and highly esteemed by the Aragonese nobility. It is considered one of the most beautiful Baroque churches in the world. The sacristy houses 45 coffins of Aragonese princes and other nobles. A cross inside the church, combining Baroque and Neo-Gothic styles, is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture.

The Chapel of San Severo on the narrow alley to the east of the church may look very plain from the outside, but it houses extremely precious sculptures inside. The sculpture "Veiled Christ" by Giuseppe Sanmartino is such that experts still cannot figure out how the artist created the veil with an effect so similar to transparency. Transportation
