Introduction The Museum of Naval History houses ships from the era of the Venetian Republic and numerous artifacts from the Italian Navy, making it a museum where you can fully explore the history of Venice as a maritime nation. The exhibition areas span from the 1st to the 4th floor, featuring items such as the ceremonial barge used by the Doge of the Venetian Republic, various ship models, an 18th-century late naval shipyard layout diagram, illustrations of gondola-making processes, as well as nautical tools used to decorate ships and naval uniforms.
