Introduction The Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari was built between 1236 and 1338, with its interior renovated in the 14th century. It serves as the burial site for generations of doges and prominent local figures. Adjacent to the Basilica di San Giovanni e Paolo, it is known as the "Pantheon of Venice." The church houses many artistic masterpieces such as “The Assumption,” “Saint John the Baptist,” and “Madonna and Saints.” Transport Take vaporetto lines 1 or 82 and get off at the S. Toma stop. Tickets/Opening Hours 2 euros. Open from 9:00 to 18:00
