The Ponte delle Tette is actually a small arched bridge in Venice, Italy, built from brick and stone, located in the parish of San Cassiano in the San Polo district. Since the 15th century, according to a decree by the government of the Republic of Venice, the surrounding area was designated as one of the legal - zones, home to numerous 0 houses. The Venetian government actively encouraged women to bare their 0s at windows facing the bridge or while standing at its entrance, in order to attract and “convert” suspected homosexuals, helping to “cure” them. This decree supported such heterosexual interactions to help curb the social issues caused by the spread of homosexuality in Venice.

Nowadays, although the area around the bridge has long since become a wholesome place, the many romantic and scandalous tales that once took place here have gradually turned into topics of lively discussion, attracting tourists to visit.
