Saint-Omer is a commune and subprefecture in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of northern France, located on the banks of the Aa River. It is a city rich in historical and cultural heritage.

Saint-Omer features wide streets and large squares, a magnificent town hall, the Italian Theatre, churches in various styles, numerous beautiful mansions, traditional markets, ancient city walls, and gardens with diverse landscaped designs.
