Copacabana Beach
Introduction
Copacabana Beach is known as the most famous beach in the world. Its shoreline stretches 4.5 kilometers along the coast, featuring azure blue waters, snow-white waves, and clean, soft sands. With year-round pleasant temperatures perfect for swimming, it attracts an endless stream of visitors. Close to shore, there are always surging waves, with blue troughs and white crests rising and falling in constant motion, one wave after another, shimmering under the sunlight like incredibly vivid oil paintings. Colorful umbrellas and swimsuits of every hue decorate the beach in dazzling splendor, while the sight of scantily clad bikini-clad women—ubiquitous along Rio’s shores—is also part of the local scenery.
