La Ronde Amusement Park

La Ronde Amusement Park is a large amusement park located in Montreal. Opened in 1967, it is the largest amusement park in Quebec and the second-largest in Canada after Canada’s Wonderland. It is very popular with visitors, attracting tens of thousands of people each summer for fun and entertainment.

La Ronde Amusement Park has over 10 roller coasters, three water slides, and offers a wide variety of games. Visitors can ride thrilling roller coasters or take a scenic train ride to enjoy views of the St. Lawrence River and Montreal; or they can zip down the tall water slides to beat the summer heat. The park also features restaurants and bars, and during the summer, there are concerts, performances, sometimes even circus acts and spectacular fireworks shows. It is open from 10:00 to 19:00 from May to October each year, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the thrills and excitement of the amusement park.

Since 2006, the Montreal Chinese Cultural Centre has partnered with the amusement park to host the Chinese Cultural Festival, which has been widely welcomed and has contributed to promoting harmony in Canadian society and strengthening friendship between China and Canada.
