Montreal Science Centre

The Montreal Science Centre is a science museum located in the Old Port of Montreal. Established in 2000, it is known for regularly hosting various science exhibitions. The largest IMAX theatre in Montreal is also situated here, primarily screening 3D films with scientific and educational themes.

The permanent exhibitions offer spaces for young, curious minds to explore science from A to Z, the Gaia Mission (Saving Humanity), the Digital Television set (expressing the world as you see it), cargo ships, technology displays, and the Windmill of Imagination, immersing visitors in a space of creation and imagination while experiencing the profound impact of technology on humanity. Among the many exhibits, the Technology Showcase is particularly popular, featuring creative discoveries and inventions that are the fruits of the wisdom and hard work of Canadian scientists. The Montreal Science Centre is open from 9:00 to 16:00 from Monday to Friday, and from 10:00 to 17:00 on weekends.
