The Nature Museums are located in Jean-Drapeau Park in Montreal, Canada. Housed in the iconic geodesic dome—the Montreal Biosphere—from the 1967 World Expo, this highly engaging museum is also rich in educational value.

The Nature Museums have become an essential stop on any trip to Montreal. Since opening, they have earned two prestigious awards: “Canada’s Most Attractive Award” and the “Global Ecotourism Award” presented by British Airways. The Nature Museums focus on ecological environments and are divided into four natural zones: the Tropical Rainforest, the Polar World, the Laurentian Maple Forest, and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Each exhibit simulates the actual climate and uses lighting to replicate sunlight hours, allowing the flora and fauna to thrive in familiar conditions. The museums house over 4,000 animals, 5,000 plants, and include an aquarium, making it a highly attractive and educational attraction, perfect for family visits.

In addition to its diverse exhibits, the Nature Museums feature souvenir and book shops, as well as three restaurants. The basement houses a taxidermy exhibition room.
