Vancouver Aquarium
Introduction
The Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park was established on June 15, 1956. With a history of 43 years, it is not only the largest aquarium in Canada but also ranks among the top five aquariums in North America. The Vancouver Aquarium is a great place to see rare marine animals from around the world. It is home to killer whales, beluga whales, colorful tropical fish, plants from the Amazon River, monkeys, and birds. Children can also participate in educational programs offered here to gain a deeper understanding of our planet and the natural environment around us, learn about the relationship between humans and wildlife, and how to better protect our ecological environment.

Adults: CAD 14.95; Students and youths aged 13–17: CAD 10.55; Children aged 4–12: CAD 7.95; Children under 4: Free. Opening Hours: Summer (approximately late June to early September): 9:00 am–7:00 pm. Other times: 10:00 am–5:30 pm. Christmas and New Year: open only in the afternoon, 12:00 pm–5:00 pm. Killer whale shows: 10:30 am–12:30 pm.
