Vanier Park is located on English Bay and is one of the most popular parks in the summer, offering leisure activities that appeal to all ages. In particular, the Vancouver Museum, the Maritime Museum, and the Planetarium within the park provide an educational and entertaining experience for curious teenagers.

Directly facing English Bay, Vanier Park enjoys a tranquil environment and stunning ocean views. Many people jog, cycle, or walk their dogs along the coastal pathway, creating a peaceful scene. However, the park can still get very crowded during special events, such as the annual fireworks festival, when it serves as one of the best spots to view the display. Vancouver’s renowned professional Shakespearean theatre company sets up a large red-and-white tent at Vanier Park every summer to stage two of the Bard’s classic plays.

Under the blue sky, the red-and-white tents are a unique sight; inside the tents, the drama and excitement of the performances stand in vivid contrast to the serene world of English Bay just outside.
