The Canada Science and Technology Museum was established in 1967 as the first museum in Canada to implement interactive science exhibitions. Its purpose is to help the public understand the history of Canadian science and technology, as well as the interrelationship between science, technology, and Canadian society. The museum's mission is to preserve Canada’s science and technology industries and present them to the public. On the spacious lawn in front of the building stands a rocket tower over 20 meters high, a maritime lighthouse over 30 meters tall, and a massive steam locomotive on the railway tracks—these are all displays of technological achievements.

The science museum is a paradise for elementary and middle school students. Here, they can view exhibits, listen to explanations, participate in hands-on experiments, build models, and engage in group discussions.
