King Abdullah Mosque
Introduction The King Abdullah Mosque was completed in 1990 and is located in downtown Amman. It is the largest mosque in Amman and one of the city’s iconic landmarks. Its blue dome, decorated with elaborate mosaic patterns, stands out prominently against the surrounding white buildings, earning it the nickname "The Blue Dome Mosque." The two tall minarets in front of the mosque can serve as orientation points for travelers in Amman.
