Dayu Mount Tai Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Taiyuan City.

Dayu Mount Tai Temple is located in the east of Dayu Village, Dayu Town, Yangqu County. According to inscriptions on the beams inside the hall, it was first built in the 34th year of the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty (1401), and was subsequently renovated in the 24th year of the Jiajing era (1545), the 8th year of the Shunzhi era (1651), and the 16th year of the Qianlong era (1750) of the Qing Dynasty.

Main Hall: Faces south and is situated to the north, with a total width of 11.14 meters and a total depth of 9.9 meters, covering an area of approximately 110.32 square meters. It has three bays in width and six rafters in depth, featuring a seven-purlin front-porch structure, a single-eave hanging hip roof, clay tile roofing with green-glazed trimming, and green-patterned decorative elements on the front slope. The eaves feature bracket sets typical of the Ming style, with carved beams and painted rafters. The interior walls are adorned with murals. The floor is paved with stone slabs. The hall remains structurally intact. Dayu Village: As the seat of the Dayu Town government, it lies 13 kilometers south of the county town and 30 kilometers north of Xinzhou City. The village has 950 households and a population of 2,189. With flat terrain and fertile land, it serves as the political, economic, cultural, transportation, and information hub of the entire town, as well as a center for commerce, market trade, and the distribution of agricultural and sideline products. It is a newly developed small town primarily focused on the building materials industry, supplemented by agricultural product processing and livestock breeding and processing.
