Qingcaopo Rural Manor is located in Shang’an Village, Huangzhai Town, Yangqu County, covering an area of over 2,000 acres. It is 23 kilometers from Taiyuan, the provincial capital. To the north lies the vast Qingcaopo Grassland, to the south stretches the long Yinniugou Valley, to the east stands the beautiful Wenchang Ridge, and to the west nestles the mysterious Baobao Village. This small village, established during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, embodies over 2,000 years of China’s agrarian culture. Visitors to the manor can explore historical sites such as the ancient Temple of the Fifth Deity, the Han Emperor Wen’s ancient official road, and the rest stops used by traders on the Western Route. They can also stay in traditional rural courtyards, enjoy local rustic cuisine, and participate in seasonal fruit-picking activities. Moreover, families and friends can experience joyful farming life and immerse themselves in the idyllic countryside.

Opening Hours: 8:00 – 20:00 (Currently closed due to road construction. The manor will reopen in mid-June 2015. Please contact the manor in advance to confirm whether it is open before visiting.)

Ticket Information: Entry to the picking garden is 20 RMB per person; entry to the herb garden is 30 RMB per person.

Transportation: Drive along the Taiyuan–Yangqu highway to reach the manor. Alternatively, take a rural bus from Yangqu County. It is only a 10-minute drive from the Huangzhai entrance of the Dayun Expressway and National Highway 108, offering very convenient access.
