Crystal Park
Introduction Built at a huge cost of approximately 1.3 billion Brunei dollars, Crystal Park officially opened in 1994. It features numerous modern amusement facilities, combining beautiful natural scenery with a wide variety of entertainment options, making it the largest amusement park in all of Southeast Asia. It is said that on the occasion of the Sultan of Brunei’s 48th birthday, the princess gifted the Sultan a massive 4,500-kilogram super crystal as a present, which led to the grand plan to build this Crystal Park as a gift to the people of the nation. As the ruler of an oil-rich kingdom, the gift was naturally extraordinary.
