The Animation Museum is located at 367 Heonam-ri, Seo-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, South Korea (385 Boseo-ro, Seo-myeon), and is the first museum in Korea dedicated exclusively to animation.

The Animation Museum uses a wide range of display materials to offer visitors detailed introductions to the origins, birth, development, principles, and types of animation, as well as animated posters and characters from around the world. Lively, vibrant, and fun, it is a museum that children particularly enjoy. In addition to exhibitions, the Animation Museum also features spaces such as a dedicated animation screening theater, a 3D cinema, and a sound studio, along with a variety of enriching experience programs that allow visitors to personally enjoy the fun brought by animation.

The Animation Museum is large in scale and equipped with advanced facilities. Moreover, nearby there are other popular attractions such as the Kim Yu-jeong Cultural Village, Heonam Folklore Museum, General Shin Sung-gyeom’s Historic Site, Chuncheon Puppet Theater, Forest Museum, and the National Chuncheon Museum, which visitors can combine into a single itinerary.
