Marronnier Park is located on Daehangno in Dongchung-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It is an urban park built within the former campus of Seoul National University and is named after the marronnier trees on the premises. The area around the park, known as Daehangno, features 113 cultural spaces including 92 theaters, 11 art galleries, and 4 museums, making it a rich hub of tourist resources and a well-established cultural district.

Marronnier Park offers a variety of cultural and artistic spaces such as a children's playground, open-air stage, fountain park, and small theater, where amateur singers often perform. The park is filled with youthful energy, thanks to the many young people practicing dance. The freely accessible open-air stage hosts a range of activities, including festivals involving university students, artists, and local residents, as well as art performances and exhibitions—ensuring there's always something interesting going on.
