The Chicken Culture Museum is located in the renowned Bukchon Hanok Village in Gahoe-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It is a private museum that exhibits Korean and international artworks themed around chickens. The venue is named a "culture museum" rather than a "museum" because its focus is not on chickens in the biological sense, but on their cultural characteristics.

The Chicken Culture Museum serves both as an educational space to deepen understanding of chickens from a multicultural perspective and as a place to revisit traditional Korean culture through the symbolism of chickens. It houses a wide variety of chicken-themed exhibits from around the world. As soon as visitors enter, they can see chicken stamps from various countries displayed on the wall straight ahead. The dining tables are set with chicken-decorated tableware and teacups, while the display cabinets are filled with chicken-shaped bottles and various ornaments. There is a rich assortment of chicken-themed items, including porcelain, dolls, handicrafts, kitchenware, and even Japanese tiles that are hundreds of years old. It is said that visitors may need to come three or four times a year to see all the collections.

After your tour, you can also relax in the first-floor café and enjoy the culture of chickens at your leisure. The café is also full of chicken motifs — from teacups and spoons to bowls and paintings — with interior decorations all themed around “chickens,” making it very charming.
