New Zealand Rugby Museum
The New Zealand Rugby Museum is located in Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui Region, dedicated to collecting and showcasing everything related to rugby union. It is the world’s first national rugby museum.
The New Zealand Rugby Museum houses a collection of 37,000 items, including scrapbooks, rugby uniforms, photographs, rugby equipment, books, trophies, badges, and all other rugby-related memorabilia. The museum features 34 themed exhibitions, such as the origins of rugby in New Zealand, jersey displays, whistle and coin exhibits, Rugby World Cup showcases, school rugby exhibits, and more, allowing visitors to explore every facet of New Zealand rugby. The museum is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00, and welcomes all rugby enthusiasts.
