Lake Hauroko is located in Fiordland National Park in New Zealand’s Southland region. Nestled within a mountain-valley surrounded by peaks, it stretches 30 kilometers in length, covers an area of 63 square kilometers, and reaches a maximum depth of 463 meters, making it the deepest lake in New Zealand.
