The Bluff Maritime Museum is located in Bluff Harbour in the southern part of New Zealand. It primarily collects, preserves, and displays Bluff’s maritime heritage, featuring a large collection of nautical-related items. The museum houses artifacts related to the whaling and oyster industries, as well as several shipwrecks, ship models, photographs, vessels, and a triple-expansion steam engine. Among its most popular exhibits is the large oyster boat, which visitors can climb aboard to explore and view up close.
