Haruru Falls is located in the town of Paihia in the Bay of Islands, Northland Region, and is one of New Zealand's most well-known waterfalls. It may not have the grandeur of Niagara Falls or the height of Victoria Falls, but it is hugely popular for its horseshoe shape.

Haruru Falls is only 5 meters high, but its width greatly surpasses its height, forming an extremely rare horseshoe shape. The rushing water adds to its charm, and if you're lucky, you might even see a rainbow formed by the mist.
