Cockington Green Gardens

Cockington Green Gardens is located in the northwest of Canberra and has been open to the public since 1979. It has now become a landmark of Canberra and a must-visit attraction when traveling to the city. Cockington Green Gardens is a miniature park, similar to Beijing’s World Park, but on a much smaller scale—less than an hour is enough to explore.

The park displays miniature replicas of iconic buildings from around the world, built at a 12:1 scale. It features small steam engines, a wide variety of houses, castles, villages, railways, trains, rivers, lakes, mansions, soccer fields, and more from all over the globe. The miniature figures placed in the tiny houses and yards have expressive faces and are engaged in their own daily lives, creating a magical and enchanting fairy-tale world. The flowers and plants throughout the garden are 100% real, adding to the whimsical beauty that makes this miniature world a fairy-tale paradise for both children and adults.

Cockington Green Gardens is open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily, with the last admission at 4:15 PM. It is open every week except for Christmas Day and the first working day after Christmas.
