Northern Territory Wildlife Park

The Northern Territory Wildlife Park is located in the forested area of Berry Springs in Darwin, 60 kilometers from the city center. Established in 1989, it covers an area of 400 hectares and is surrounded by forests, home to native wildlife.

The Northern Territory Wildlife Park offers one of Australia’s most wild and pristine animal encounters, with perfectly recreated habitats including wetlands and tropical rainforests. The zoo adopts a fully open approach—animals roam vast natural forests, swim freely in lakes, or rest quietly in their caves. One of the park’s highlights is its unique aquarium, which replicates the river systems of the Top End and houses saltwater crocodiles and countless fish species. There is also a dedicated bird area divided into 11 zones based on different species' behaviors. During the day, visitors can get up close to these lively creatures, watch various animal shows including raptor and trained animal performances.

The Northern Territory Wildlife Park is open daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 4:00 PM. It remains open year-round except on Christmas Day.
