Florence Falls is located in Litchfield National Park, south of Darwin, and consists of two waterfalls. The pools beneath the falls serve as popular spots for swimming and cooling off during summer. Florence Falls cascade down from the mountaintop, backed by high cliffs and surrounded by trees, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere.

The left waterfall is smaller, while the right one is slightly larger. They flow year-round with a total drop of 212 meters, making them one of Australia’s most spectacular waterfalls and one of the park’s most famous attractions, drawing many visitors. The white water plunges down the cliff, with crystal-clear pools forming natural streams and lakes. Visitors often swim in the pristine waters, and even under the scorching summer sun, the pool feels refreshingly cool.

For those who prefer not to swim, climbing to the mountaintop offers a stunning view of the waterfall’s graceful descent. Visitors can also camp overnight near the caves by the lake, immersing themselves in the beauty and serenity of nature.
