Sunshine Coast
IntroductionThe Sunshine Coast is situated 96 kilometres north of Brisbane. It stretches from Caloundra, through Noosa Heads, Cooloola Coast, Maroochydore, and all the way to Glasshouse Mountain and the Blackall Range Hinterland, featuring sunny weather and endless beaches. The area offers a wide range of recreational activities. Visitors can explore boutique shops and craft stores, play golf, enjoy various water sports, or join a day trip to Fraser Island. Additionally, the Big Pineapple in Nambour is famous for its tropical fruit farm. On Pioneer Road in Yandina, there's Australia’s only ginger factory (The Ginger Factory), where you can purchase gifts and souvenirs made on-site. There's also the Queensland Reptile & Fauna Park in Beerwah at Glasshouse Mountain, which houses a variety of animals including snakes, crocodiles, kangaroos, wallabies, and birds.
