Alderke Folk Garden is a branch enterprise under the Luobunaoer Hotel (a two-star hotel) in Yuli County. It is located within the pristine Populus euphratica forest ecological park in the scenic and easily accessible Gulebage Township, about 6 kilometers from the county town.

Relying on landscape features such as sand dunes, crescent lakes, specialty orchards, farmland, the Alderke Tomb, an observation tower, and the pristine Populus euphratica forest, the Alderke Folk Garden began construction in March 2002 and officially opened on May 1, 2002. With a total investment of 1.5 million yuan, it covers an area of 4,000 square meters, has a built-up area of 1,922 square meters, and includes 2,200 square meters of green space. Facilities include star-rated resting rooms, luxurious reception private rooms, spacious open-air dining areas, and a grapevine corridor over 30 meters long, capable of hosting over 200 diners at once.

Since its opening in 2002, the garden has successfully hosted multiple visits by central leaders to our county, as well as key leaders from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and our prefecture. It has also been the venue for various conferences and events organized by the region and prefecture. Managed with the standards of a star-rated hotel, Alderke Folk Garden is highly regarded in Yuli County’s hospitality industry for its high-quality cuisine and top-notch service.

In recent years, with the continuous development of tourism, the number of visitors to Yuli has steadily increased. To further enhance tourism reception services and create a distinctive Luobunaoer food culture rich in ethnic character, in early 2007, experienced Uyghur artisans were hired to redesign the entire garden. Drawing from the unique Luobunaoer culture and focusing on competitive elements such as environmental protection, high taste, and health benefits, they carried out comprehensive interior and exterior renovations. The redesign emphasizes the local Luobunaoer culture, using modern craftsmanship to showcase the ancient living environment of the Uyghur people.

Alderke Folk Garden captivates many visitors with its distinctive Uyghur ethnic style, attracting them to stay, dine, and explore. The newly decorated Alderke Restaurant is surrounded by Populus euphratica forests, deserts, and farmland. Here, visitors can not only savor authentic Uyghur-style barbecue and farm-style dishes but also enjoy beautiful Uyghur song and dance performances. They can climb the watchtower to overlook the pristine Populus euphratica forest, go boating or fishing in the crescent lake, join a farm-style barbecue, or pay respects at the tomb of Alderke—the discoverer of the ancient Loulan City...
