Xingdi Rock Carvings

Located in the Xingdi Canyon of the Kuruktag Mountains. Enter the valley from the Xingdi Open Area, follow a small stream eastward for about 10 kilometers, and you will arrive at the rock carvings on the rocks by the stream. The Xingdi Rock Carvings are among the earlier large-scale rock carvings discovered in Xinjiang, with a history of over 3,000 years. They are believed to have been left by the ancient nomadic Saka people from the north when they entered the Tarim Basin. Featuring over 300 images depicting hunting, architecture, weddings, dancing, and more, they mark the beginning of the local nomadic people's primitive culture.
