Aksu Water Park

Aksu Water Park is located in the southeastern part of Emin County, 13 kilometers from the county town. Established in 1975, the main dam of the reservoir is 2,250 meters long (with a dam height of 18.48 meters and a top width of 6 meters), the water depth is 15.68 meters (with a storage capacity of 20 million cubic meters), and 1,500 acres have been afforested. Primarily used for agricultural and livestock irrigation, the reservoir also offers fishing and boating activities for visitors.

It can be divided into two major functional areas: active and passive. The western and northern parts of the reservoir feature various water sports, water-edge activities, land-based amusement activities; the eastern and southern parts, with greater terrain variation and better viewing conditions, are mainly designated for vacationing, leisure, fitness, and sightseeing. The various activities in both the active and passive zones are closely interconnected via a perimeter road and waterways, forming a cohesive and unified whole.
