Tianshan Aheyazi National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Tianshan Aheyazi National Wetland Park in Xinjiang is located within the state-owned forest area of the mountainous region in southern Zhaosu County, situated in the high-altitude river valley of the upper reaches of the Tekes River, the largest tributary of the Ili River. It features a typical “wetland–forest” composite ecosystem. The planned total area of the wetland park is 1,772.1 hectares, composed of various wetland types including permanent rivers, forested swamps, and marshy meadows. It integrates with the high-mountain glacier landscape to form unique natural and cultural scenery in an arid region, offering high aesthetic and viewing value. It serves as a model for wetland conservation in the arid northwest of China and in the upper reaches of international rivers.

The Zhaosu Branch of the Western Tianshan State-Owned Forest Administration in Xinjiang, dedicated to the protection of natural forest resources, actively participates in wetland conservation, promotes the rational utilization of wetland resources, explores sustainable development models, and constructs wetland parks. Aheyazi Wetland Park is divided into five functional zones: wetland conservation area, ecological restoration area, education and exhibition area, rational utilization area, and management service area. The construction of this wetland park will further enhance the ecological environment quality of Aheyazi and enrich its diversity of flora and fauna.
