The ancient stone pillars of Simutasi

The ancient stone pillars of Simutasi are a cultural tourism attraction.

Located in the grasslands of Burhan Taw Mountains south of Yamadu, there are three ancient stone pillars — two on the east and one on the west, about 100 meters apart. The western pillar stands about 1 meter above the ground, with irregular patterns carved on its eastern side. The two eastern pillars are 10 meters apart, with about 0.5 meters exposed, all showing carved traces. The purpose of the pillars and the meaning of the carvings lack definitive research. They may have been tribal markers used by the Turkic people.
