Taliimu Scenic Area

Taliimu Scenic Area is a National AAA-level tourist attraction and a cultural tourism destination.

Taliimu Scenic Area is situated in the southeastern mountainous area of Gongliu County, 68 kilometers from the county seat. It is a national-level forest park and was awarded National AAA-level status in 2007. The area boasts expansive grasslands, dense forests, fresh air, and misty surroundings, where forests merge with grasslands, deep canyons lie beside wide valleys, snow-capped mountains accompany blue skies, and white clouds blend with the greenery. With cool summers and mild winters, it serves as a microcosm of the scenic charm of the Western Regions — the "Jiangnan beyond the Great Wall." Major attractions include the Sea of Forests and Pine Waves, Spruce Sunset, Eight Immortals Tree, Lovers’ Pines, Cowherd and Weaver Girl Pavilion, Silver Thread Waterfall, and Swan Lake. The scenic area offers well-developed tourism facilities. The villas feature unique architecture, while yurts are scattered harmoniously across the landscape, blending perfectly with the natural environment. It is an ideal destination for leisure, summer retreat, and sightseeing.

Taliimu Scenic Area has built tourism facilities covering an area of 5,000 square meters, integrating guest rooms, dining, conferences, entertainment, and shopping, with first-class tourism reception and service amenities. There are currently three luxury villas, six wooden villas, over ten Kazakh yurts, and more than 60 standard rooms, with a daily reception capacity of over 500 people.
